Darren Lyons Trio has recorded a new CD entitled "3 Trios". It features 3 pianists -- Jeremy Manasia, Carlton Holmes, and Lou Rainone -- along with Paul Beaudry on bass for all tracks. The CD was mixed by Joe Ferla and mastered by Mark Wilder. Now available.
Can also be heard on WBGO 88.3 FM (12/2010) and Pandora.

Darren recently finished co-production and drumming duties on singer/songwriter Kramer Daniels second CD, "Sleepover". Continuing with the same lineup from "Digital Sushi", Dominic Miller-guitar (Sting, Pretenders), Tony Trischka, Jeff Andrews (Michael Brecker, Steps Ahead), Skip Ward (Phoebe Snow, Bela Fleck, DLG) and Manolo Badrena (Weather Report, Ahmad Jamal). The cd was mixed by Joe Ferla at Avatar NYC and mastered by Greg Calbi. Darren completed drumming and production on Kramer Daniels' "Digital Sushi" and the CD is now available at kramerdaniels.com.

Darren was participating at IAJE this year in NYC. At the Peter Erskine clinic on 1/13/07, Darren was asked to join his old teacher on stage for a demonstration on Peter's concepts of "Time Awareness". Darren shared the stage with Peter and legendary bassist Rufus Reid. See the photo's

"Evil Genius" was mixed at the breath-taking Bi-Coastal Studios, NY. Mastering was completed at The Lodge, NYC by Emily Lazar.
